ROLE DESCRIPTIONS

KINSPIRE SCHOLARS MENTOR (VOLUNTEER)

The Kinspire Scholar Mentor will work directly with students and guide them as they navigate through their professional fields.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one on one meetings once a month with their assigned mentee
  • Provide industry related support and advice to their mentee
  • Report student progress to the Kinspire Board

An ideal candidate should be an effective communicator and take initiative.

INDIA OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

The India Operations Director will help manage efforts in India on the ground.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with partner organizations and CCIs in India
  • Relay all of the relevant information to national Kinspire in the US
  • Create new connections with companies and NGOs

An ideal candidate should communicate effectively, be well-organized and take initiative. Additionally, this position is reserved for people living in India.

FINANCE DIRECTOR

The Finance Director is responsible for overseeing and managing Kinspire’s financial health.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage organization’s finances
  • Create quarterly and annual reports
  • Reach out to companies for sponsorships

An ideal candidate should have knowledge and/or experience in finance and strong leadership skills.

KINSPIRE SCHOLARS DIRECTOR

The Kinspire Scholars Director will oversee all things Kinspire Scholars related.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to partner CCIs for a list of prospective scholars 
  • Collect materials from prospective scholars to determine their eligibility
  • Assemble a team to interview new candidates
  • Ideate new ways for us to be engaged with this program and continue supporting our scholars

An ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Kinspire Scholars Program, display strong leadership skills and take initiative.

PROGRAMS DIRECTOR

The Programs Director will work with the other directors to oversee and manage all of Kinspire programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Review all material for Kinspire programs to ensure consistency and relevancy
  • Establish timelines and conduct check-ins with volunteers and leads
  • Attend meetings every two weeks and report status updates to the board

An ideal candidate should have an interest in expanding Kinspire’s impact, display strong leadership skills and take initiative.

EVENTS DIRECTOR

The Events Director will manage all Kinspire events.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and ensure event timelines are met
  • Assemble a team to carry out the event
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager for marketing purposes

An ideal candidate should have an interest in expanding Kinspire’s impact, display strong leadership skills and take initiative.

SOCIAL MEDIA DIRECTOR

The Social Media Director will maintain Kinspire’s online presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and create content for all Kinspire social media accounts
  • Establish a timeline for sharing news
  • Consistently update website content

An ideal candidate should think creatively to spread awareness, and be an effective communicator.
